Abstract
The beliefs, attitudes and practices towards attention to diversity of the university students can facilitate or hinder educational inclusion (Booth & Ainscow, 2015, Messiou et al., 2016). Their appropriate measurement is of great relevance to design and develop actions aimed at changing those opposed to inclusion in the university (Navarro et al., 2020). This study, which includes a validation of the Scale measuring the Beliefs, Attitudes and Practices of Attention to the Diversity of University Students (SBAPAD-US), is part of this line of work. A validated questionnaire by means of inter-rater agreement was applied, which saw the participation of a total of 2,553 students from 8 universities. After a descriptive analysis was done, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out using the principal component extraction method with Varimax rotation. The confirmatory factor analysis of the model made it possible to evaluate its fit.
