The Online press rooms are crucial tools for projecting the corporate image and reputation of many types of organizations. Specifically, Spanish Universities find in these elements, that usually placed in their corporative websites, useful instruments to get to the media and, at the same time, to manage their relationship with society in a direct way, without intermediaries. From this point of view, this work presents an ideal press room online model for universities, based on scientific literature and validated by experts in the field of knowledge. On this basis Spanish Universities online press rooms have been analyzed in order to determine the ability level for being adjusted to the proposed model.
