Abstract
The present research was developed in Ecuador, it is oriented toward people as a source of competitive advantage, we identify it as human talent and from the theoretical framework we establish conceptual differences versus human resources. We developed and valued a model to measure the influence of talent on the results of the organization, for which we initially used the Strategic Management of Human Talent (SMHT) model of Collings and Mellahi (2009), and from this model the effect of the SMHT composed of the talent base and strategic positions on the Human Talent Results (HTR) that were means through the motivation, commitment and exceptional behavior and this in turn in the influence on the Results of the Organizational Strategy ( ROS) divided into economic and non-economic. Finally, we included the variable Strategic Alignment of Human Talent (SAHT) that statistically obtained a moderating effect on the influence of HTR on ROS. Our model considers constructs used in practice in the business world such as recruitment, development, motivation and others that are emerging strongly as the talent base, strategic positions, exceptional behavior, strategic alignment and, therefore, have been little studied, more the challenge to understand what the human effect on the results of the company. The final models present a good fit and a significant influence among their variables.
