Interacción entre la percepción del comportamiento de los padres y los comportamientos deportivos en edades de iniciación

Resumen

El principal objetivo del estudio es examinar las relaciones entre la percepción sobre los comportamientos de los padres y los comportamientos de deportividad en jóvenes en edades de iniciación. La muestra está formada por 809 jugadores de fútbol de género masculino que pertenecían a equipos federados de categorías alevín, infantil y cadete. Ellos completaron los cuestionarios que valoraban la participación de los padres en la práctica deportiva y los comportamientos de deportividad. Los resultados señalan una relación positiva entre el apoyo de los padres en la práctica deportiva con los comportamientos de deportividad, así como una relación positiva entre los comportamientos inadecuados de los padres con los comportamientos antideportivos. Como conclusión, se puede destacar que una adecuada participación de los padres en el deporte puede provocar la aparición de comportamientos más deportivos de los jugadores en el juego.
