Résumé

Any historical change or new socio-political configuration in the countries foster to appear variables any Society has to face. In Middle Ages the convulsion lashing the Humankind was the Crusades. New needs appear that have to be answered. The Order of Templar is an essential part in it. On the maritime world the conflict fosters a development rushing advances on navigation matters, maritime technology and commercial routes. It is needed to face the Crusade demands carrying troops and supplies as soon as possible most optimal navigation routes to that end. Among the supplies horses are vital. A specific vessel called Tarida is developed to carry them. It is the evolution of a byzantine Dromon changing and adapting itself to the specific needed like large doors on fins to reach to place war horses in the shores near battlefield.
