Abstract

Falls, are one of the most important problems in the elderly population both psychological and functional, causing unintentional injuries and fractures. This supposes high costs for the health, being able these be avoidable with suitable interventions in the greater population. The objective of this study was to compare the effects of training programs in high intensity intervals (HIIT) and training in moderate intensity intervals (MIIT), both with a suspension exercise training system (TRX), over several risk factors for falls, gait analysis, dynamic balance, muscle strength and quality of life in people over 60 years.
