Abstract
The aim of this work is to account for the linguistic resources that are proposed in the Guía para un uso igualitario del lenguaje administrativo, published in Cádiz by Diputación Provincial in 2005, to achieve an egalitarian treatment of men and women in the administrative language. This paper sets out to explain whether these linguistic resources are or not allowed by the normative orthographical and grammatical rules and fi t to the lexicographical defi nitions.
