Tratamiento jurídico y social de la mujer inmigrante víctimamodelo español

Abstract

A huge representation of dead women in Spain, victims of �Gender Violence�, is the one represented by foreign women. In this study, the main factors of this high appraisal are being looked for, as well as the response given by the legal order. The Organic Law 1/2004, 28th December, on the complete protection towards Gender Violence, has introduced no modifi cation of the Organic Law 4/2000, 11th January, on rights and licences of foreign people in Spain, and its social integration. This is considered as a new evidence of the insuffi ciency of the present answer, where the administrative situation, in which these women are found, is considered much more important than the fact that they are really suffering from this kind of violence.
