Abstract
Taking as its starting point the quantitative and qualitative impact of globalization on crime, the main objective of this paper is to analyze whether current approaches of criminology, both theoretical and practical, are appropriate to the changing reality of crime and criminal justice, or if instead it is necessary to adopt new approaches.
