Abstract
Through a qualitative analysis to eighteen small and medium andalusian firms, this paper analyze what these companies understand by corporate social res- ponsibility, main drivers and barriers they perceive to the implementation of these practices, and main CSR practices they develop. Among key findings from the study, it is noteworthy how in andalusian businesses there is still a great enigma around the concept and practices that encompass CSR. However, it is also shown that they often offer an excellent performance in CSR but they are not aware of this reality
