Abstract

The master’s degree in Engineering Acoustics, arises due to the demand in the public and private sectors, when it becomes aware of the need to design new Bachelor and Graduate oriented to New European Higher Education Area. The results obtained at the University of Cádiz, in the first six editions (2007-2013) are presented. For analysis of the title development process we have followed the criteria established in the «Protocol for the monitoring process of official university degrees»(CURSA julio 2010) Our valuation from the initial project, is quite positive. Its integration into the European Network «Schola» the European Acoustics Association and the Spanish Acoustical Society enables collaboration with universities and research Centers, national and European. The great interest aroused and high ratios obtained demonstrate the existence of necessary studies in society. Despite the problems caused by the introduction of the new Master’s degree. Maintaining the Master’s degree in Engineering Acoustics is necessary and certainly an added value for those universities who want to stand in the Higher Engineering studies.
