Résumé
The major changes that have been occurring since the late twentieth century in the international arena have greatly undermined the principle of Community preference in so far as this principle has led to an agricultural policy of the European Union protectionist hardly compatible with the phenomenon of globalization. This article discusses what has been the practical operation of the principle of Community preference and what your limits are and the role they must play this principle in the context of economic globalization currently unfolding in the Common Agricultural Policy.
