Resum

In the current economic literature, one of the most studied issues has been, without a doubt, the economic crisis we are suffering almost all over the world. This aspect has been widely analyzed and debated by many specialists in the field of the Economy, but also in other disciplines such as Politics, Sociology, Communication, etc... Although we can find a huge amount of texts and works published about the causes of this crisis and its impact on the living standards and welfare of the citizens worldwide, there are still interesting aspects which have not been investigated in depth yet. At this stage of the process, no one calls into question that the origin of the crisis took place in 2007, and since then the phenomenon is systematically been worsening. Although the situation has not been the same in all countries, it is true that in the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), some countries have been most heavily affected, as Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Spain and Italy. The aim of this paper is to analyze the impact that the economic crisis has had on different regions and sectors of the Spanish Economy.
