Resumen

El presente trabajo pretende aportar evidencias sobre la percepción que los universitarios tienen acerca de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa y su aplicación al ámbito de la Educación Superior, asi como determinar si existen diferencias en dichas percepciones asociadas al género. Los objetivos del estudio se centran en: -Analizar la percepción que tienen los estudiantes sobre las razones que motivan a las empresas a aplicar la RSC. Conocer si los alumnos/as consideran que la responsabilidad social es un concepto aplicable en el ámbito universitario y los posibles beneficios que aportaría. -Evaluar la importancia que los alumnos/as dan a la inclusión de la responsabilidad social en su formación académica. Para el desarrollo de los objetivos planteados hemos desarrollado una investigación de carácter cuantitativo sobre una muestra de 1596 estudiantes de las diferentes universidades públicas andaluzas. A partir de los datos de la muestra podemos concluir que existe un alto conocimiento del concepto de responsabilidad social por parte del alumnado universitario, con una opinión favorable hacia la integración en el ámbito de la gestión y la formación universitaria. Se encuentran diferencias en las opiniones y percepciones en función del género, mostrándo las alumnas una mayor sensibilidad hacia las cuestiones éticas y sociales.
