Abstract

The aim of this paper is focused on the analysis of the main controversies related to civil liability derived from damages caused by intelligent entities such as defective products, which include both the White Paper on Artificial Intelligence and the Report attached to it. Both texts relate the regulations on product safety and civil liability, which this study attempts to clarify in its particular application to damage caused by intelligent machines, analyzing the reform proposals made by the Commission from the framework of the Spanish legal system.
