Zusammenfassung
The investigation on the Pocito Chico site showed the identification of archaeological objects and buildings from Medieval Islamic times and the Modern and Contemporanean ages. In the same way, other settlements, for instance Marroquíes Bajos, province of Jaén in Spain, the human occupation is orientated to the exploitation of the field and water resources a long the History (Hornos, Zafra y Castro 1998). This finds are to gather in groups in order to stratigraphy in several phases. Most interest show two dirhams of Abd al-Rahman III and one felús of taifa times. Finally, was excavated a Islamic medieval iron blacksmith, in association with andalusian pottery, named in a Christian documents of XIII century. Is a rural settlement, or alquería, of the Jerez city hinterland.
