Abstract

This research analyses the benefits of Music in the improvement of school performance through an experience with a group of students of 4º ESO. Due to the lack of a former successful development of the educational work, it was decided to put into practice an innovative work model designed after putting together knowledge in the fields of music pedagogy, music therapy, and emotional intelligence. To develop this work, several instruments have been used to diagnose the problems and, once the results were obtained, to redesign the work methodology through music and confirm the improvements in the previously mentioned parameters.
