Résumé

It has been observed that the study of electric circuit theory can be a problem for secondary students. Furthermore, in many cases students learn to apply formulas without any real understanding of their meaning. For this reason, the implementation of a gamification method for teaching circuit theory is described in this paper. We created an application for Android mobile devices that allows simple electric circuits to be solved. This application has a tutorial, in both English and Spanish, to make it easier to use. When this method was applied in practice, students had to use the simulator to answer questions designed to test their knowledge.
