Contractualismo, neoliberalismo y libertad en Amartya Sen y Michel Foucault

Abstract

This text pauses on the common elements finding from theoretical proposal of Sen and Foucault. The review of their works, mainly, lead us to their following coincidences: a) Criticism of a consensus in accordance with a transcendental normative principles; b) Analysis on neoliberalism, specifically, about the human capital theory of Gary Becker, and finally, c) They emphasize on the individual liberty. It underlines the conception that they have on liberty as action. This leads to the individual responsibility and the social agreement, which are of the vital importance, currently.
