Résumé

Being a nurse implies confronting uncomfortable situations that we do not know how to handle. This is disappointing and shocking. These situations are related to the sense and meaning of Life and Death. It is not easy to handle them. We usually avoid them so as not to get too involved. We lose the point of view of the one who is suffering. I recognise there were circumstances that allowed me to boost and carry out a conscious change in my daily practice knowledge and personal work, the routine and strictness of the system were no excuse not to do so, which led to favourable and worthy results. Training in these cases can help us handle these difficult experiences appropriately taking us down new paths of known ways which are overworked and empty.
