Abstract
Whereas the Roman civilization almost monopolizes the cinematographic production on the Ancient World, the Etruscan culture has been barely represented on the big screen. In general, movies where Etruscans appear are usually related to screenplays based on mystery and danger. One of the few exceptions to this rule can be found in the movie L´Età del Ferro, by the Italian director Roberto Rossellini.
