Resumen

The South African province, extending from Namibia to South Mozambique, is characterized by the presence of a certain number of endemic Conus species, together with a large number of species whose geographical distribution includes many other areas of the Indo-Pacific. Altogether, a total of 84 species of Conus have been reported for South Africa of which 18 can be considered as endemic. These species are figured and described in this issue of the Conchological Iconography.
