Abstract
The actual society is made of uncertainty, globalization, and digital change. In this context, very different from that of XX Century, creativity and innovation become strategic resources that produce social development. Not innovating implies loss of competitiveness and social deterioration. Therefore, promoting innovation mentality would be a realistic and basic objective for the educative system. But ¿how is the process for innovation? ¿What are the key competencies? ¿How does to promote innovation thinking (flexible, open to change, to opportunities, to projects? This paper presents a web-based tool, CREATOOL, aimed to help the development of key competencies for innovation. CREATOOL allows different learning styles and an easy update of contents. The design, structure, applications and evaluation results are showed.
