Abstract

The case of the Jerez-Xérés-Sherry and Manzanilla de Sanlucar, which are discussed in this article, is a clear example of the complexity of social systems. These systems are highly complex realities with many conflicting objectives; their elements are linked by many varied relationships. Moreoyer, it is important to consider the constant interaction with a changing environment, which brings about mutual modification. Traditional methods and approaches are not really adequate for dealing with this complexity and for allowing us to completely understand the functioning of these systems. Systems Approach and Systems Dynamics offer a promising way to mitigate this lack; in our article we will try to show the veracity of this affirmation
