Abstract
Prolific translator and writer, Carmela Eulate Sanjurjo (1871-1961)was certainly one of the most important and versatile womantranslator in the first decades of the 20th century. Poet, novelist,anthologist, women’s historian, Eulate’s name has been erasedfrom the History of Translation as well as from the Latin-Americanliterature. This article deals with a little known facet of La Muñeca’screator in order to contribute to feminist history of translationStudies.
