Abstract

Brexit is an enormously complex process that affects an original structure of supranational integration: the European Union. As its effects are multiple, in Gibraltar and the neighbouring Spanish Campo de Gibraltar region its impact is especially relevant, so an orderly exit of the United Kingdom from the EU is needed to set up an adequate framework of cross-border relations.
