Zusammenfassung

A numerical, non-linear, barotropic, two-dimensional tidal model was implemented and used tosimulate the M2, S2, O1and K1constituents in Port Foster (Deception Island, Antarctica). Themodel has been validated by comparing the simulation results against measured water levelsdata collected in several stations inside the domain. Once the model has been validated, thetotal volumen of Port Foster is exchanged with Bransfield Strait during the flood and the ebbtide have been estimated.
