Resumen

We present an intense work of systematization of the evidences associated with water manage-ment in the urban space of Baelo Claudia. Tese testimonies that we have compiled refer to the water cycle, with evidence of a water catchment system inside the limits of the civitas , of the distribution of spring waterwithin its walls, of the evidences of its use, as well as of the drainage of the same through the sewer system. Tewater management equipment in this city is particularly interesting in terms of its uniqueness, diversity anddevelopment, allowing this work to offer a global view of all phases of its operation and highlight the specificsingularities of this site. Tat is why Baelo became a benchmark for knowledge of water management in theRoman cities of the southern coast of Hispania.
