Résumé

The Pan-American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH) has financed a project GEOF 04 2018 for the modernization of the monitoring of the Titicaca lake level in the Guaqui hydrometric station. The project consisted in the installation of a new limnimetric staff along with the acquisition and placement of a pressure sensor. The final budget has had a reduction of 60% with respect to the original thanks to the collaboration of the SNHN (National Service of Naval Hydrography) of Bolivia. Likewise, the University of Cadiz has carried out an on-site course to prepare SNHN personnel who will later be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and the downloading of the data.
