There are activities focused on several areas that make use of percussion tools, which generatesignificant vibration peaks, and in some cases. The main objective of this work is to describe amethodology to estimate the power absorbed by the hand-arm system, due to the vibrationstransmitted by the percussion tools. It is a methodology that uses modal analysis to solve certaindifficulties derived from the movement of the accelerometer placed in the hand of the worker,when the mobile reference system in which the accelerator is supported can show measurementerrors.
