Résumé

The first objective, of this work, has consisted in the study of the existing national regulations onmaximum exposure levels contemplated in neonatal incubators located in the NeonatalIntensive Care Units. The comparison made it possible to observe that only the group ofworkers of the NICU is being studied, within the scope of occupational risk prevention, whichtakes into account 8-hour working days, defining 30 minutes for a stop regulated, obtaining atotal of 7,5 hours per working day. The time of exposure of the neonate patient greatly exceedsthe aforementioned time, since the neonate patient is exposed during the whole day, reachingan exposure time of 24 hours. The second objective has focused on comparing the regulations at the state level of the R.D.286/2006 with the recommendation set by the American Academy of Pediatrics. This R.D.establishes a lower exposure value that gives rise to an action of LAeq,d = 80 dB(A) and Lpeak =135 dB(C), thus exceeding the LAeq,d = 45 dB(A) marked by said Academy.
