Abstract

This communication stems from an experience service-learning (hereinafter ApS) at the institutional level developed in one of the subjects included in a curricular itinerary (garcía et al., 2016) in grade early Childhood education at the University of Cádiz. In the course “Pedagogical Fundamentals of educational needs in Childhood,” which is part of the four year and belongs to the basic training of that grade. Thanks to the cooperative work of students during the four years we’ve been doing this methodology, have been making a minimum of 30 services per year in different centers beneficiaries, which has enabled the students the opportunity to engage personally with social issues affecting the community.We intend to present the possibilities offered by this educational and methodological proposal at university level.
