Resumen

Non-linear mathematical models are presented describing the role of signalling in B lymphocyte development. Stability analysis of the steady states of the model are studied, always considering the biological background. Bone marrow data from 9 patients with normal B cell subpopulations are used in order to provide realistic parameters. The influence of the model parameters is considered to better understand full reconstitution of B lymphocytes, providing biological interpretations of the results. Combination of data and mathematical modelling may provide a better insight into hematological dynamical processes, and enable a future application for hematological disorders.
