Abstract

In our society the issue of excessive sugar consumption is a matter of debate and even it is treated in the global media,since it is associated with health problems and is related to unhealthy eating habits. Carbonated drinks are a contextwhere sugar is the main protagonist and they can be an appropriate chemistry learning environment and more specificallydissolutions. Thus, this paper presents the tasks related to the approach of sugar consumption, within a teaching-learn-ing sequence for Compulsory Secondary Education students’, entitled “Deconstructing carbonated drinks” within theframework of a Doctoral Thesis.
