Abstract
Socrates extolled the virtues of brevity in conversation, but he also created the foundations of rational logic based on the principles of identity, non-contradiction and excluded third parties that have shaped our divisional thinking. We need to move beyond identity antagonisms towards the included third party and the New Brachylogy is the right place to take this third step.
