Résumé

A series of silica supported lanthana s amples, with La2o3 weight loadings rang i ng from 7.8% to 75%, have been prepared and characterized . XRD, Raman s pectroscopy, XPS and TEM studies demonstrate the formation of a well dispersed , amorphous , lanthanum containing phase . The surface basicity of t he samples was gradually modified as the lant ha na loading increased.
