Résumé

In these pages we want to deal with the projection on cinema and television screens of different mythical episodes linked to the founding of the city of Rome. If it were compared to other episodes or characters in its history, the scant interest it has aroused is striking, at least from a quantitative point of view. We will deal with those productions that have focused on the figure of Aeneas and his journey through the Mediterranean, the twins Romulus and Remus, the episode of the kidnapping of the Sabine women and the fight between Horace and Curiaceous.
