Abstract
This article analyz es succinctly the pictorial serie s about the biblical figure of the Penitent Magdalene which the Greek of Toledo (1541 - 1614) represented thoroughly and conceived as an iconographic landmark in the context of his works of art, an important part of the Women�s History, Gender History in summ ary. In these notes the attention is paid to the painting from the Szépmüveszti Müzeum in Budapest, which is studied and defined in detail, emphasizing technical and artistic issues of the painter presents in the artwork, as a humble contribution to the fi gure of the genius in this I V Centenary of his death.
