The value of education is fundamental in a person’s life. However, this begins in early childhood,whether in the family or in the classroom. There, students meet with peers and diversity manifests itself inmany ways, while respect and empathy must be the benchmark for classroom dynamics. All in all, teachersmust be aware of and trained to respond to diversity, including issues related to affective-sexual education.And, in this sense, in order to get to know and understand the thinking of an early childhood teacher, weopted for narrative methodology, with the intention of sharing her lucid voice and empowering her throughhow she acts, feels and thinks. Although there is still much room for improvement, by way of conclusion,we would add that we are encouraging them to learn to live and coexist in an atmosphere of comfort, respectand harmony.
