Resum

Infection wih the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has broad manifestations affecting the mouth and nek. The major salivary glands enlargement has found as clinical finding in HIV patients. Bening lymphoepithelial cysts have reported in the parotid gland. A case if this HIV-related salivary glands disease is presented in a patient with hemophilia. The role of RM imaging in the diagnosis is important, not only for the more sensitive detection of the parotid mass, but also for determining its cysts nature. Also, definitive diagnosis of this HIV related lesion is confirmed by fine needle aspiration citology.
