This paper is a continuation of our studies dedicated to highlight the importance of the poetic Opera of Hernán Ruiz de Villegas, a neolatin poet born in Burgos (1510-1572). The main purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the hypothesis that our author used quite often the encyclopaedic works of the French humanist Johannes Ravisius Textor, specially, the Epitheta and the Officina, as a source for the composition of his poetic works, and to analyse their influence on his Aesopi fabulae, a collection of 38 fables composed in dactylic hexameter.
