Abstract
The evolution of Primary education in Puerto Real from 1936 to 1940 reflected the political situation in Spain after the Civil War. As we shall see, the fascist govermment of General Franco stablished since its own beginnings the standars to rule the Spanish system of Education, according to the ideology of the "Movimiento Nacional" and the national catholicism.
