Zusammenfassung

Introduction: The appendicular endosalpingiosis is a benign disease that is a very rare disease. Clinical case: woman of 39 years, with 5 days diffuse abdominal pain, accompanied by nausea. Blood tests appear to raise CRP. In abdominal ultrasound there are findings compatible with acute appendicitis. Appendicectomia is performed and the histological report describes appendicular endosalpingiosis. Discussion: There are only 8 cases published in the medical literature. Appendix involvement is very rare, and is often mistaken for acute appendicitis as in our case or with appendicular tumor. The preoperative diagnosis is difficult. We present a systematic review of the literature for this specific and rare disease, with possibility of malignant transformation.
