Resum

Colorectal carcinoma very infrequently gives rise to cutaneous metastases. We describe the case of a 74 years old woman diagnosed with sigmoid colon adenocarcinoma at 20 cm from the anal verge. The extension study staged the tumor as T3bN2M0. The patient was scheduled for sigmoidectomy, on the surgery we biopsied a cutaneous nodule of 15 mm diameter. Histology reveal a cutaneous metastases from intestinal adenocarcinoma. We present the case because of the low frequency of this type of metastases and the repercussion that they have in the postoperative treatment and in the prognosis.
