Resumen

The aim ofthe cluster analysis is to determine similarities between the data to be grouped. This communication presentstwo applications of this technique to determine the ground deformation from GNSS stations data. The first case is astudy about the ground deformation ofTenerife lsland from 2005 to 2015. lt was used to determine anomalous values ofdisplacements in the GNSS stations. Analogously, it has been used in a second study, in the same period of time, to helpus understand the complex dynamics of the Nubian plate, focused on Macaronesia. Clustering analysis improved theinterpretation of results and revealed certain zonal behaviors, especially in the Canary lslands, which must be studiedmore detailed.
