Resumen

The Andalusian Positioning Network (RAP) is a regional GNSS permanent network in Southern Spain that offers a public service for precise positioning in real-time (RAP-IP). Most of the registered users are linked to the construction sector, so the collapse of the housing bubble and the Spanish economic crisis influenced the use of RAP services from 2008. The study on the RAP-IP service has proved its usefulness as aconstruction sector economic indicator in real-time. The spatiotemporal analysis of location of user connections has allowed a detailed study on RAP use. Thus, patterns have been established to determine areas of further expansion in coming years, for example in agricultural areas.
