From the feminist theory and, in particular, from the feminist legal theory, our work analyze the situation of the conciliation of work and family life in the Community Law (today, the European Union Law) and it show how this hasn´t included the women's need of an equitable distribution with the men of the family and domestic tasks. In the Community Law the conciliation of work and family life isn´t perceived as a citizenship question.
