La docencia en la universidad españolarepresentaciones en la prensa digital (2012-2015)

Resumo

In this work, along the lines of studies taken on the construction of social image of the University in the press (Barroso, 2000), we analyze how the university teaching is represented in the new format realities building which has take place with new technologies: the digital press. We have selected a sample of articles published the years between 2012 -2015 (Popular Party government) in three digital newspapers national range (El Mundo, El País, Libertad Digital) on subjects relating to the Spanish University, for this. Among the results, it may be mentioned the approach to university teaching in the strict sense from the perspective of other functions attributed to the University, such as the research, which is overrepresented, and the transfer of knowledge, and, in general, how the university teaching is undervalued and made invisible.
