Zusammenfassung

The existence of learning difficulties in the practical part of the course Introduction to Business Economics in the Degrees of Business Administration and Finance and Accounting raised the need to design audio-visual materials to improve the results of the learning process. The purpose of this initiative is twofold: firstly, to increase the autonomous learning skills of students; and secondly, to improve the time management in classes to develop new skills in accordance with the principles of the flipped classroom. Therefore, the objective of the paper is twofold: (1) to assess the use, importance, advantages and limitations of video tutorials as a tool to promote autonomous learning of the student; and (2) show the impact of video tutorials on the practice. The results of the study show several findings. On the one hand, the high degree of acceptance and satisfaction with this initiative by students, improving their capacity for autonomous learning due to the asynchrony of the learning process. Furthermore, it is valuable the identification by teachers of the most difficult exercises within the subject.
