Resumo

The Project is, at the same time, the most common tool and the method par excellence on a new construction design. Over years it has been molding since achieving its current configuration. This configuration includes its document structure and also its work procedures and faults. The mount of economic profits or losses that can be generated by a well or bad-done project are usually very significant, a check is needed. This paper proposes an analysis using value curves (a well known customer-oriented design technique) focused on comparing the usual output characteristics of this kind of projects with those who needs the next entities on the production chain: the construction company and the promoters or the authorised administration. Even though these entities are not the uniques customers of a construction project, certainly are the adjoining ones and almost always the final responsabilities of a good o bad work are theirs. As perfect as possible projects must be demanded by construction companys. This analysis shows what project paramethers carry out construction company expectations and those paramethers which could it be improved. At the end this tool will allow to detect the possible current innovation areas in construction field and its project.
